Kindergarten Admission Information

A word from the DOE regarding kindergarten admission:

“Kindergarten Admissions: Elementary schools

THIS IS A NEW PROCEDURE – DOE will be handling registration – same as PreK

Beginning in January, families can apply to kindergarten online, over the phone, or in person at any enrollment office. All public schools that serve kindergarten students will participate in this new admissions process; school zones and admissions priorities will not change. Note that the application period begins on January 13 and the application deadline for families is February 14. Placement offers will be distributed in early April, and pre-registration will begin in late April.”

Information on forms, links, office locations, etc., will be updated as they are received by this website.
