Join us for the PTA meeting next week on Wednesday, January 16 at 8:15 am. We have lots of volunteer opportunities in the next couple of months, so we hope to see a lot of parents involvement. 
Do you own a business or know someone who owns a business who would be interested in placing an ad in our Mary Poppins Jr. Playbill? Please note the deadline of January 18. 5th Grade parents can also place an ad on behalf of their class or children who are in the play. Contact us for more details.
Interested in having your child play in a Chess tournament?
PS 150Q (in Sunnyside) will be hosting the Chess in the Schools tournament on Saturday, February 9, 2019. It is a FREE event, however registration is required (entries will likely close sooner than usual). This event is open to Public School students from grades K-12. Register here.
PS150Q parents and guardians, if you want to volunteer for this event, please click on the link below: http://signup.com/go/VmMUUPm. We will need help setting up, selling food, snacks, and drinks during the event (from 7:30 am on). Come for part of the day or stay the whole event.

Your child will be able to purchase affordable gifts for family and friends (prices will range from $1 to $5 per item). Classes will be scheduled to visit the boutique throughout the 3 days.

This is a PTA fundraiser and an opportunity for the students to shop independently (assistance is provided by the parent volunteers).
