Parent Teacher Conference Notice

Dear Parents,

On Wednesday, March 18, 2015 students in Grades Kindergarten – 6 will be receiving report cards for the school year 2014-2015.

Parent-Teacher conference will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2015 in the afternoon from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. and the evening from 5:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. All parents, including Pre-K and Kindergarten parents, are urged to confer with their child’s teacher in order to assess their child’s progress to date.

On Thursday, March 19, 2015 there will be no classes in the afternoon for the children. Students will be dismissed as follows:

11:30 A.M./Annex 11:30 A.M.
11:45 A.M.

Parent Teacher Conference for Pre-K and Kindergarten will be at the annex in your child’s classroom.

9 de marzo de 2015 Estimados padres,

El miercoles 18 de marzo de 2015 los estudiantes de primero a sexto grado recibiran tarjeta de calificaciones para el arm escolar 2014-2015.

La Conferencia de Padres y Maestros se efectuara el prOximo el jueves 19 de marzo de 2015 de 1:00 — 3:00PM y de 5:30 — 8:00PM. Se recomienda que todos los padres, incluyendo los de Kindergarten, se reUnan con el maestro/a de su nifio/a para que puedan dialogar y evaluar el progreso del estudiante hasta este momento.

El jueves 19 de marzo de 2015 no habra clase en la tarde. El horario de salida sera el siguiente:
Kindergarten — 11:30AM/Annex
110, 2do y 3er grado — 11:30AM

4to, 5to y 6to grado — 11:45AM

La conferencia de Padres y Maestros para el Pre-K y Kindergarten tendra lugar en el

Anexo. Por favor dirijase a la clase de su nino/a.

    • Deborah McGowan leads a group of parents who are advocating for a middle school to be built in Sunnyside.  This proposed school would relieve overcrowding at I.S. 125 and provide a new option for children who graduate from P.S. 150.  Please join us to hear more about her efforts, how this would affect you, and how you can get involved.

Book Swap February 12th

Looking for something new to read?

We’re having a book swap!

P.S. 150 Book Swap Thursday, February 12th All Recess Periods Bring in gently used books to trade for new ones. Each child bringing in one or more books will receive up to 2 tickets to exchange for new books.

Books not selected will be donated to the school or a local charity. Books for older readers (3rd -6th grades) are especially appreciated! Children can drop off their books in their classroom Feb 6­-11th so that PTA volunteers  can organize the books in advance of the swap (volunteers welcome!)
